I'm Alexiane, a 20-year old French student currently attending a two-year Master degree in design and digital creation, at École Estienne in Paris.
I am looking for an intership abroad, so feel free to contact me if you think I'm just so great you can not wait to work with me.
object design and augmented reality
experimental virtual reality
Experimental project with a drone. In pairs with François Desole.
What is a drone ? What is it used for ? How do we connect with it ?
With this experiment, we wanted the user to understand the drone's vision. Seeing through its eyes, the user had to find his way in a maze made of black and white geometric shapes, that fake volume.
visual identity and interactive website
Partnership with the Centre Pompidou, for the Creative Code Festival, march 2018. In pairs with Marie Gélix.
My partner and I decided to introduce a younger audience to the work of Russian Sergei Diaghilev, who revolutionized French ballet in the first part of the 20th century. We took our inspiration from the works exhibited in the room dedicated to the Russian ballet, as well as other colored, geometrical graphic identities. We recreated stage sets, costumes and took movements from real choreographies, that the user can discover through different interactions.
processing and virtual reality
Used Processing to transcribe a signal. Making of a video to show how the device works. In pairs with Amélie Vorms.
The user is placed in front of a green screen and his body is transformed into squares of different sizes and color on the computer screen. We created a 3D environment using Blender, projecting the user into the screen, as close to the pixels as he could ever be. We finished by producing this video, which can be seen in VR, to create an immersive experience.
Making of an augmented book on surrealism, using HP Reveal.
Based on the process of automatic writing, this book is an inventory of minor news articles, illustrated with Google Images. The augmented reality allows the reader to see the images and get a new level of understanding.
The process :
1. choose a minor news article
2. choose a noun
3. look it up on Google Images
4. go to the very last image
5. replace the noun with the word that best describes the image
Typographic experiment based on Zuzanna Licko's Modula Round Serif.
ÉCHO questions the legibility, the vanishing of the letter into the paper thanks to the colored weave. It gives the character depth, movement and rhythm, contrasting sharply with Modula’s constant verticality. The screen printing technique allowed me to really experiment with the character's legibility, while giving up part of the control to the technique.
print and interactive app
Special edition for UNO's 25th anniversary.
In this special anniversary edition, numbers are replaced by cocktails that were served during the Prohibition era in the United States. Players are in a speakeasy, these illegal bars of the twenties, and they have to drink (get rid of their cards) while they can ! There is a mobile app version of the game as well.
